Production Blog - Becoming a Director
Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today I will be talking about more filming! In the past couple weeks, I have been working with my group on some more scenes for the music video. The scenes that I will be talking about are scene seven and eight. These were fun to make in my opinion.
Scene seven took some time to film due to some firefighters needed to use the restroom. We wanted the bathroom, so we had to wait until they were done. Once they were done, we were able to get the scene of Marissa washing her face. Peyton started to film this scene. I didn't like how the camera was angled. Peyton let me take over filming for this scene to help get the camera angle just right. I wanted to make sure I got Marissa's emotions but also not have the camera in the mirror. I finally got the angle the way I liked. Everyone else liked it too so it worked out well.
I then moved to scene eight which was fun because we were able to use the Fire stations doors. They open up in a very cool way that allow us to get a very cool tracking shot. I did have to re film this scene a couple times just to make sure the scene was long enough. This scene was pretty easy to complete overall. These are the most recent scenes so far. I will be back soon with more updates!!
