production blog: Other Info

 Location-  

We will be filming at Marissa and Mackena's house. Our house is a part of a subdivision of a giant neighborhood. This house works the best because it is two stories if we happen to need a staircase for anything. Also helps because there is a lot of space on the first floor for setting up props and filming materials.   

We also want to film certain scenes at the Fort Lauderdale fire department, like we did for our music video. My group mates and I have not 100% decided if we are using the department but if we are we planned for specific filming days there.  

Participant's-  

Actors-  

• Marissa Modafferi- Best friend of girl who gets kidnapped. 

• Riley McClanahan- Ex best friend of kidnapper, girl who gets kidnapped. 

• Mackena Modafferi- Kidnapper 

Filming- 

Peyton Young- Strictly filming the scenes.  

Riley McClanahan- Will film certain shots that Peyton needs help with, or Riley may be able to film better.  

If any of us think we may be able to get better shots, we will switch between who films.  

Directors- 

Marissa Modafferi, Mackena Modafferi- Co directors. Will collaborate on which scenes each of them is directing based on who is in acting in what scene.  

Schedule-  

Filming days will be- 2/1, 2/3, 2/10, 2/17, 2/19 

Editing days are- 2/14, 2/19, 2/23, 3/1, 3/3 

1/27/24- Plan for filming. Discuss props, makeup, lighting, who is filming, acting, etc. Get the small details done before we film. 

2/1/24-We will be beginning filming after school, just scenes one through five. Gives us information to talk about during our production blog due later that week. 

2/3/24- 2/10/24- Second and third day of filming, we will attempt to get as many scenes done as possible since it is a weekend. Prevents us from needing more filming days later this month.  

2/14/24- Begin editing the scenes we have filmed, should be scenes one through hopefully twelve or fifteen. Based on how many scenes we get done will determine if we need to edit on the first of March or save those edits for later in the month.  

2/19/24- 2/23/24- Final filming days. Since one of these days are a day, we have no school the goal is to finish filming entirely. We will be using these two days to film at the Fire Department if we need to. We have not decided if we are using the department but if we end up needing it, we will film on these two days. 

3/1/24-3/3/24- Both days are strictly for editing the rest of the scenes. 3/1 will be used to fix edits we made before if we feel the need to do so. 3/3 is going to be used to edit the final shots.  

3/9/24- Meet up at Starbucks for a little to go over our film review, and film review changes blogs, write some of our CCR and turn in our final task.  

Backup Plan-  

If our location cannot be used, then we can use Peyton or Riley's house.  Hopefully our location will be applicable, however in the event that it does not work out there are alternative options. If we are not able to film on certain days, we will use these back up days.  

2/4, 2/9- Back up filming days 

3/4, 3/6- Back up editing days  

 

Health and Safety-  

We will do many things to obey health and safety standards. Obeying traffic laws when we are driving from one location to the next, and always wearing our seatbelt! Following traffic lights and speed limits to avoid accidents.   

We need to use fake blood to show a scary scene or incident where someone gets hurts. Since we may need to use a fake knife or even a real knife, we will handle everything with care. Make sure a first aid kit is handy in the event of something happening.
