Production Blog - Getting our male actor

 Hey and welcome back everyone! Today we finally have out extra actor. My group and I were able to finally start filming the scenes that include the boy. We used our friend Connor. Today I will be talking about the scenes done including Connor.

But before I start talking about the filming process with Connor let's talk about how I got there. Even though I'm 16 i do not own my own vehicle. I currently share a car with my grandpa, so there are some days I have a car and some days I do not. We wanted to film on a Friday and I knew I would not have the car that day. I then asked Marissa, since she has a car if she could take me. The problem with that was Marissas car could not fit all us. So I needed to find a way to get the car so I could be able to help film with peyton and the rest of the group. I was luckily able to get the car from my grandpa so I found transportation.

Moving on to the filming process. On this day the group was in a hurry due to we all had other activities to do after school. Peyton and I began filming the scenes of Connor and Marissa fighting since that was the area that was available. This scene was fun to film but also a little stressful because I wanted to make sure we had a variety of different shots and angles. For this scene we made sure to have a tracking shot that followed Marissa out of the room. 

After we finished this scene we had to redo one of the scenes I was in since it was to short of a scene. This scene was easy for me to do since I already did it the last time we filmed. 

The group then went outside since we finished the indoors scenes. we then did the stair scenes which was tricker to do because peyton was to tall for the scene, to get a right angle I went to film that scene as well as the scene in the locker rooms. I had the vision of what I wanted the scene to look like and everyone agreed with me. 

The last two scenes that were done were Mackena and Connor walking together which was also a little difficult because where I was filming was on the street and there were lots of cars driving by. Eventually the traffic slowed done and I was able to get the scene just right. The last scene was Marissa and Connor driving in the car which I wasn't apart of because I wasn't in the car. 

These were all of the scenes my group and I got done. We only have to more scenes left. I will see you all in the next blog!! byee!!
