Genre Decision

 Hey guys today I will be telling you about the genre my group and I decided on!      For our opening sequence and final task, we have decided on the thriller genre. We decided on this because it fits most with our pitch and the vision we have for it. With the thriller genre, we will be able to make use of all the shots and editing that are on theme for the genre, and that we are fond of. We were originally debating a comedy but ultimately ended up going with a thriller to make it something we would be more likely to enjoy making. The sounds in thrillers are something that we are all familiar with and are comfortable working with, whether that be editing them in or finding them on the web. All four of us are thriller movie fanatics, which was definitely another contributing factor.   We can’t wait to make a thrilling sequence!

Research/Planning Blog

Hello and welcome back to my blogs. Today I began planning all my parts of my commercial. The first thing was decided on the images I was going to use for this project. The first thing I did was go back to my intro blog to have my pictures relate to that blog. I decided to have multiple pictures of my friends and I and my dogs especially! I had to pick a specific picture of my dogs where they are all in the same photo, which was difficult, but I found a perfect photo. I also went to google to find a really cute picture of a doctor because I really want to be a doctor. The videos were a little more difficult to decide on. When I went to go look for videos, I wanted to show my journey in M.M.A but I couldn't find any at first. I then went deeper into older pictures and videos and found the perfect video of me getting my black belt. I needed another video and I wanted to show my school life. Production Blog - The beginning of the End.

 Hey friends and welcome back to my blog! Today I will be talking about some of the edits my group and I have made to the music video so far. As of right now there are about two scenes we have to complete. Other than that, we are done with the music video. Some of the things that needed to be edited were the scenes themselves. One of the scenes I was in were to short for the music video to have smooth transitions. Peyton and I realized we had to change that asap. When I went to the Fire station for the second time my main goal was to make sure I got that scene, and not forget. When the filming for that day was almost over, I realized I had not got that scene in. I reminded Peyton and she helped me film that scene really quick. This scene was very easy for me because I had already done the scene in the past. Peyton did have to film it twice. She filmed it twice just to be positive she had enough time.
