Hey guys and welcome back! This is my last production blog for the making of the music video. We are finally done filming. Peyton wasn't here when we had to film our last couple scenes therefore, I was the main director for the last scenes. These scenes were pretty quick and easy to film. Peyton laid out all of the scenes, so I knew exactly what to film. Once we were done, we met up at a local Starbucks to collectively edit the final music video. The scene that I helped edit was Marissa and Connor in the locker room. This scene was a little difficult because I had to morph two separate scenes into one scene to make it look smooth. This scene was also to long for the section, so I needed to cut a part of the scene to make it fit seamlessly. I zoomed in just a little bit to make sure I got a clear image of both Connor and Marissa. We made sure to hand around the device to give everyone a chance to help edit certain scenes. Once everyone finished editing their scenes we h...
Hey everyone welcome back to another blog! Today I will be talking about the final scenes my group and I filmed. We started right where we left off with Marissa and I about to play hide and seek. This is just a bunch of different scenes of Marissa looking for me. There was one scene that was difficult to film. Peyton couldn't get the right angle in the beginning. She filmed it a couple more times so now we have multiples scenes to work with when editing. The next few scenes were upstairs. There was one scene that was filmed in the twin's bathroom. It was supposed to look like Marissa was looking for me hiding in the shower. Peyton didn't feel super comfortable stepping into the twin's bathroom, so Mackena filmed this scene. The next scene we filmed upstairs was the scene of Marissa looking under a bed. We used Mackena's room for this since her room is right near the bathroom and it was cleaner than Marissa's room. We had to get the camera at the right angle to ...
Hey everyone and welcome back to another production blog! Today I will be talking about how my group, and I met up at Starbucks to plan everything else for the film. We met up at this same location on the last project and it seemed to work very well for us. We decided to do this because trying to plan everything over text just wasn't working well. We went to Starbucks after a long day at school, but we needed to plan everything out. I love Starbucks so I got a coffee so that helped me stayed energized to get this done. Once everyone got their little snacks, we got ready to plan out our other filming days. Peyton even brought a planner to just write down all the days we could do so everyone was on the same page. When discussing days to film, either the end of the week or the weekend works best for me. I work on the weekends though so sometimes I have to schedule days off work. It is still so much better to film over the weekend then during the school week. It was getting a little s...
