Planning for my music video

 Hey and welcome back! Today I will be discussing the planning for our music video

Props-   

Gym equipment  

Cellphone 

A car to drive down the street 

Kitchen supplies- stove, pan, utensils  

Firefighter hat  

Chair and table 

Couch or bed 

Tissues 

Location- The location for our music video is going to be the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department—station two. We are going to be filming in different locations at the Fire house, however. There is the kitchen, gym, garage, rooms, and offices we can use.  Each scene may be filmed in a different part of the building but ultimately in the same location. The outside of the building like in the streets or sidewalks may also be utilized. 

Schedule- 


10/10/23- Mackena and Marissa go to location after school to look for certain places to film 


10/16/23- Start filming beginning scenes immediately after school, assign roles. Someone to film, whether everyone wants to be in the video etc. 


10/18/23- Continue filming and bring in extras. The extras will be for background attention. We needed more people, so we went around and asked some people if they wanted to be a part of our video. 


10/21/23- Maybe finish the video, depending on the amount of time we have. If we finish filming today, we are going to make some back up scenes just in case we don’t like how they came out. 


10/24/23- Today is editing day! All four of us are going to meet at Riley's house because her house is in the middle of everyone's houses. She also has the video on her laptop, so we are going to edit the video through that.  

Back up plan-  


We have a few back up days just in case these days do not work. 

10/17/23- The first day we are filming  

10/19/23-  Just in case we do not find extras we pushed the filming day back one 

We also have a backup location in case the Fire house does not work, we were going to film at Galleria mall because it also could coordinate to our story.  

Costumes-  

In the beginning everyone who is in the first scene wears casual outfits, which are shorts, leggings and a T-shirt. Towards the end of the film one of us transitions into the Fire fighter gear to show the ending of the video. The girl in the first scene is going to have her makeup done to show that she cares about her appearance when she is with her boyfriend.

 Hey guys and welcome back! This is my last production blog for the making of the music video. We are finally done filming. Peyton wasn't here when we had to film our last couple scenes therefore, I was the main director for the last scenes. These scenes were pretty quick and easy to film. Peyton laid out all of the scenes, so I knew exactly what to film.  Once we were done, we met up at a local Starbucks to collectively edit the final music video. The scene that I helped edit was Marissa and Connor in the locker room. This scene was a little difficult because I had to morph two separate scenes into one scene to make it look smooth. This scene was also to long for the section, so I needed to cut a part of the scene to make it fit seamlessly. I zoomed in just a little bit to make sure I got a clear image of both Connor and Marissa. Production Blog - Getting our male actor

 Hey and welcome back everyone! Today we finally have out extra actor. My group and I were able to finally start filming the scenes that include the boy. We used our friend Connor. Today I will be talking about the scenes done including Connor. But before I start talking about the filming process with Connor let's talk about how I got there. Even though I'm 16 i do not own my own vehicle. I currently share a car with my grandpa, so there are some days I have a car and some days I do not. We wanted to film on a Friday and I knew I would not have the car that day. I then asked Marissa, since she has a car if she could take me. The problem with that was Marissas car could not fit all us. So I needed to find a way to get the car so I could be able to help film with peyton and the rest of the group. Title Research: Vantage Point

 Hey everyone. Welcome back to another blog. Today I will be talking about the opening sequence of the film "Vantage Point" from 2008. I found this opening sequence on art of the tile. This film follows the same genre my group is using which is thriller! The opening sequence begins by naming the production company and who they associate with. The background is more of a dark color scheme therefore they use white for their titles. "Columbia pictures presents" and "In association with relativity media" both slide on to the screen just like a typewriter which was pretty cool and unique. The titles then slowly fade away after about five seconds. Another title that is presented is "An original film production" which has the same effect as the other titles. The last title in the opening sequence is the title of the Movie "Vantage Point" but this title is in a different part of the screen as well as being in a black color and bigger font then ...
